APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Fox Valley Humane Association is asking the public for help as it continues to provide temporary housing for pets belonging to families displaced by the recent flooding.
Since flooding began earlier this month, the shelter has offered a place for pets to stay while their displaced owners are in hotels or shelters that do not accept pets.
The shelter says it has welcomed a growing number of dogs in recent weeks and expects more arrivals as residents continue to feel the effects…
