APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) – In late March, Fox Valley Technical College EMT-paramedic instructor Karl Arps was helping students run a scenario, lying in the back of an ambulance used for class, when the training exercise took a terrifying turn.
Arps, an adjunct instructor and 25-year EMT, says he decided to improvise a chest pain scenario, and then started feeling off in the ambulance.
