Ashwaubenon prepares for busy weekend with multiple major events in the middle of May

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WBAY) – Multiple major events are set to draw large crowds to Ashwaubenon starting May 15, with village officials anticipating an economic boost along with traffic and parking restrictions.

The Epic Marathon and Running Festival, concerts, and tournaments will take place the weekend of May 15 through 17. Village of Ashwaubenon Administrator Joel Gregozeski said attendance could compare to the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, which generated $104.7 million economic impact statewide and $72.9 million within Brown County.

“Having the ability to do these large-scale events and multiple events on the same weekend that brings in all of these people from outside the area that will take advantage of our restaurants, our hotels, and other businesses in the community,” Gregozeski said.
