A new artisan shop recently opened, bringing local vendor goods, eco products and events to downtown Appleton.
Fox Valley Artisan Market, 506 W. College Ave., had its grand opening March 2. Owner Cassidy Pesek said her vision for the shop is to create a space inspired by her passion for holistic living – Pesek is a certified holistic health practitioner – and to provide eco-friendly goods to the community.
“I wanted to introduce more holistic options and products to the Appleton area,” she said. “I also wanted to help our local vendors that get a lot of support during the summer with our farmers markets but aren’t able to sell or do as much in the colder months.”…
