Expect high temperatures as the week winds down in the Triad

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — The work week began with below-normal temperatures but will end with above-normal readings.

Mostly sunny on Friday with lows around 60 degrees and highs in the lower 90s. Due to the heat, the Piedmont will be under a Code Orange air quality alert. That means older adults and kids with heart and lung disease should limit prolonged or strenuous outdoor activity.
