GREENSBORO, N.C. — It came in the mail this week, a notice of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy by Oak Ridge Painting Company. About 90 creditors got this letter: customers who paid, subcontractors who did work, business providing materials. In total, more than $390,000 is owed. But it doesn’t look promising for them to get any of the money.
“This is the first time that we’ve actually hired someone, and everything kind of went south on us,” said Jim Gant, a customer of Oak Ridge Painting Co.
