Man, woman arrested for robbery at Winston-Salem Subway

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem man and woman face charges after a robbery at a local Subway, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.

Police received reports of the robbery at the restaurant on Peter’s Creek Parkway at 5:30 p.m. on June 5. A 26-year-old man told officers a man stole money from him inside the Subway and showed him a gun when he was confronted.

Investigators identified 26-year-old Jashawn Spruill and 28-year-old Katlynn Bethea as suspects in the robbery. Police found Spruill’s car on the morning of June 6 on Northwest Boulevard. Officers say this led to a police chase along U.S. 421…
