DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A woman was arrested Wednesday after being accused of helping the two men charged in a Durham triple shooting earlier this year that left two dead and one injured, court records show.
According to the Durham Police Department, Tevin Devonne Bumey and Jarrett Lamon Godfrey were shot to death inside of a vehicle in the 3500 block of North Roxboro Street just before midnight on March 13. A woman in the vehicle was also shot, suffering serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Earlier this month, court records show the suspects in the shooting were identified as D’Monte Kinneyand Xavier Darrell-Shikeem Hodges, both 26 and from Durham. Both have been taken into custody and were indicted on the following charges:
- Two counts of first-degree murder
- Two counts of attempted first-degree murder
- Conspiracy to commit first-degree murder
- Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury
- Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill
- Discharging a weapon into an occupied motor vehicle in operation
On June 1, according to court records, 22-year-old Samantha Batten of Burlington was indicted on two counts of accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.
