Jamestown man charged with breaking into woman’s home while her three kids were inside

ASHEBORO, N.C. — A Jamestown man faces a felony breaking and entering charge after a burglary incident in Asheboro. The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says it was called to Crescent Avenue on June 29 for a burglary in progress.

Court documents say a woman and her three children were inside the home at the time of the break-in.

When officers got to the scene, they found the suspect had run away from the home. They then deployed a K9, who tracked the suspect. 45-year-old Robert Edward Clark was arrested and taken to the Randolph County Detention Center…
