WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Step back into what life was like in the 1700s this weekend at Old Salem Museums and Gardens to celebrate the United States’ 250th birthday.
“Everything that you see as you walk down these sidewalks, from the bricks to the flagstone to the buildings, are all either original reproductions and/or rebuilt properties,” Old Salem Museums and Gardens Director of Consumer Sales and Marketing Rob Casey said.
