Asheboro community members concerned about puppies being sold in parking lot: ‘Seeing a lot of sickness’

ASHEBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A Piedmont Triad animal shelter is calling on Asheboro city leaders to stop animal sales in parking lots.

Asheboro Police say there are no local or state laws prohibiting the activity, but the Happy Hills Animal Foundation says it’s led to a parvo outbreak.

On Thursday, a FOX8 crew met Crackle and Pop. They are two puppies full of energy and were sick and diagnosed with parvovirus at one point.
