WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — People who live at Wyngate Village in Winston-Salem say they’re becoming beyond frustrated after the city trash pickup has been delayed two weeks in a row.
“Last week, it was so bad. … We walked out our door, and it smelled like something died in the street. It was really bad. … It’s continuing now,” said a frustrated homeowner, Bobbi Bain.
Bain says the city has now missed two trash pickup days. She says that last week it was delayed by several days, leading to not only disturbing smells but also unwelcome critters.
Bain says she took out her trash bin again Wednesday evening for the normal pickup on Thursday, just to find the bin still full Thursday evening for the second week in a row…
