FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Forsyth County Sheriff Bobby F. Kimbrough, Jr. confirmed that an attack on a female jogger at Tanglewood Park, which was reported on June 30, did not occur at that specific location.
Captain Justin Sloan, SWAT Team Commander for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, elaborated, stating digital evidence and other discrepancies led them to conduct a second interview with the woman who filed the complaint. Based on her statements and the evidence collected in the investigation, Kimbrough, Sloan and Forsyth County District Attorney Jim O’Neil confirmed the assault did not occur at Tanglewood Park.
