RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Five volunteers who spend hours each day cleaning up around Worthville Dam in Randolph County say they’re tired of cleaning up other people’s garbage.
“We want to see people here. We want to see people living in the place. We want to see people enjoying themselves and having fun, but we don’t want to see the trash they leave behind,” said a volunteer, Hannah Thompson.
‘Pick up Behind Yourself’
Thompson says she’s been picking up trash around Worthville Dam in Randolph County for years.
