GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Former Greensboro Mayor Carolyn Allen died on Tuesday at 93.
Allen served as the city’s first female mayor. She held office for three terms from 1993 to 1999.
She was born on Nov. 3, 1932, and died on Sept. 1, 2026. The cause of her death has not been released.
