GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The Road to 10,000 is an initiative the City of Greensboro announced a year and a half ago as an approach to increase housing and keep up with the expected population growth by 2030.
At first, some wondered if the approach was too aggressive, but a year and a half into the initiative, the city says it’s working. The city has achieved 40% of its goal.
