(WGHP) — A heat advisory will be in place for Caswell, Alamance and Montgomery Counties on Thursday.
Sunny to partly sunny skies on Thursday with lows in the low to middle 70s. It will be another very hot and muggy afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 90s. But in a few communities, when you factor in the humidity, the heat index could be as high as 106 degrees.
On Friday, a cold front will move into Virginia. The cold front will be close enough to bring a few afternoon or evening thunderstorms into the Piedmont.
