BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — A man was charged with assault with a weapon with intent to kill in addition to three misdemeanors on Friday in Burlington.
According to the Burlington Police Department, Dominique Plummer did unlawfully, willfully and feloniously assault a female with a Hi-Point C9 9 mm handgun with the intent to kill her. The woman was shot, according to the warrant.

The defendant was also charged with three misdemeanors, including assault by pointing a gun, firing the weapon within the city limits of Burlington and simple possession of marijuana, according to the Burlington Police Department.
