GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A Guilford County Schools educator experienced a big surprise on Friday when representatives from the National Life Group presented Analía Wells, a dual language curriculum facilitator at Hunter Elementary School, with its LifeChanger of the Year Grand Prize Finalist award in a surprise ceremony during a schoolwide assembly.
Melody Zoch, a community member who recognized how Wells took her dual language curriculum work outside of the classroom by building relationships with families and students to help ensure the students’ and the program’s success, nominated Wells for the award.
“One of the things that’s really extraordinary about her is that she doesn’t just confine her work to the school or to one classroom,” Zoch said. “She’s really a community educator.”…
