GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Yakima Fox’s brother, a former Greensboro firefighter, encouraged her to try out.
Initially, she did not know what to expect but deciding to give the career path a chance has led to a rewarding journey of close to 20 years.
“Time flies by, especially when you enjoy what you do. When you enjoy what you do, you can’t even tell that it’s been that long,” she said.
