Isolated storms, showers possible in the Triad heading into the weekend

(WGHP) — A few isolated showers or storms are possible this evening in the Piedmont Triad.

The majority of us will likely remain dry. However, a few stronger storms that form could be capable of producing damaging winds. We’ll continue to see a mix of sun and clouds this evening with a 20% chance for a pop-up storm. Temperatures fall into the low 80s by 8 p.m.

Clouds build overnight, leaving us with mostly cloudy skies by Saturday morning. Temperatures will start in the low 70s with afternoon highs reaching the mid 80s. Rain chances increase through the late afternoon and into Saturday night. Scattered showers and storms become a little more widespread by Saturday evening.
