HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — The High Point Fire Department is investigating a house fire that injured two people on Wednesday morning.
Firefighters came to a home on the 1200 block of Tipton Street at around 4:13 a.m.on Wednesday after getting a report of a structure fire.

At the scene, firefighters spotted heavy fire from the back of the home and made entry. They found two people inside the home, a man and a woman, who were both taken to the hospital for treatment.
There is no word as to the extent of their injuries at this time…
