Motorcyclist dies from injuries in crash with Guilford County deputy on NC 68

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The motorcyclist who was involved in a crash with a Guilford County Sheriff’s Office vehicle in August had died as a result of his injuries, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

The crash occurred at the intersection of NC 68 and Albert Pick Road, just off Interstate 40/US 421 near Piedmont Triad International Airport at around 10 p.m. on Aug. 24, 2026.

Investigators say that Tre’Shaun Moyer was riding his motorcycle north on NC 68 when he attempted to turn left on the ramp to I-40 East.
