GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A man who was charged with a sex crime in Guilford County served as a Triad-area sheriff’s deputy.
Brandon Yair Zagada Zuniga, 30, of Seagrove, was charged with second-degree forcible rape on Thursday in Guilford County.
According to the warrant, he assaulted the victim while she was “physically helpless.” The offense date is listed as April 25, 2026.
