TRINITY, N.C. (WGHP) — Edward Eugene Lohr, Ward 2 representative on the Trinity City Council, was arrested after he allegedly threatened another elected official, according to the City of Trinity.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office arrested Lohr, 77, on Thursday.
According to the warrant, Lohr allegedly told the city manager that he “wanted to shoot that scumbag Robbie Walker in the head and watch his f—— head roll off on the ground while he laughed.” Walker is mayor pro tempore and representative of Ward 4 on the Trinity City Council.
“The City of Trinity and Randolph County Sheriff’s Office strive to protect the community we serve,” the city said in a statement. “The City is cooperating with local authorities in reference to this pending matter.”…
