ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A man was convicted on Thursday of multiple drug charges after the largest methamphetamine seizure in North Carolina history, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of North Carolina.
According to court documents, 34-year-old Artemio Rivera Avilez was initially indicted on May 26 and was tried on charges in a superseding indictment filed on Aug. 31.
