GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Friends of Guilford County Animal Shelter and the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce unveiled tents to help local animals.
Four were given to Guilford County Animal Services to provide more shaded and covered areas for animals in their care.
The tents add a more comfortable feel to the shelter’s outdoor spaces.
“It is so important to have these tents because we know that North Carolina weather can often be unpredictable, and the summertime can be … too hot for a dog’s paws, so these tents provide much-needed shade not only for the animals but for the staff, the volunteers and for potential adopters,” GCAS President Gail Williams said…
