GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A program aimed at getting illegal guns off Greensboro and Guilford County streets is now doubling the cash reward for tips.
Greensboro Guilford Crime Stoppers announced today that its Gun Stoppers initiative is increasing the reward for each qualifying illegal firearm recovered.
Leaders with Crime Stoppers say this boosted reward amount, which takes effect immediately, is not a response to one specific act of violence.
