REIDSVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — A man was found dead at a home in Reidsville that caught fire on Monday night, according to a Reidsville Fire Department news release.
At 11:51 p.m., Reidsville firefighters were called to Sunset Street when they were told a home was on fire.
Arriving crews saw flames and smoke coming from the home that appeared abandoned.
A neighbor said a squatter had been living there. Fire crews found a dead male in the home.
Fire crews and police officers cleared the scene at 4:30 a.m.
The cause of fire is under investigation.
