A North Carolina Mother of Five Called 911 From a Gas Station to Say She’d Been Robbed. Then She Disappeared

A 25-year-old North Carolina mother of five has gone missing after calling 911 to say she’d been robbed not long after she left a night club, according to authorities.

Marissa Carmichael, of High Point, was last seen at an Exxon the morning of Jan. 14 in Greensboro, police said.

Carmichael’s family told authorities she left the One 17 Sofa Bar and Lounge with someone early Sunday. A few hours later, she called 911 from the gas station around 3:40 a.m. to report that she’d been robbed, according to the Greensboro News & Record .

She said someone in the car with her told her to go inside and “grab some s—,” the paper reported. When she was inside the store, the person in the car allegedly took off, leaving her stranded.

“I don’t know where I am in Greensboro,” Carmichael said in the 911 call cited by the paper. “I just got all my stuff thrown out the car. He took off with my phone. I have no clue where I’m at.”
