GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The Cake Boss, TV star Buddy Valastro, is looking for the next greatest baker, and a local woman is in the running for the title.
Bailee Silvey, who lives in Greensboro, made it to the semi-finals in the online competition. She started baking during the COVID Pandemic and her delivery cake business was born. This competition is also a fundraiser for families dealing with pediatric cancer.
The first vote every day is free. People can then pay for additional votes for their favorite bakers. Silvey hopes she’ll make it to the finals and even win the entire competition.
The prize includes meeting the Cake Boss and a feature in his magazine plus $10,000.
