GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — One person is dead after a crash in Guilford County on Thursday night.
The wreck is north of Highway 150 on US 29 North across from the Cornerstone Conference church in Browns Summit.
Troopers responded at 7 p.m. when they were told about the crash.
A vehicle was going south on US 29, crossed the median and hit a truck head on.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation says the road was closed around 7:15 p.m. and is set to reopen around 11:15 p.m.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area. The investigation is ongoing.
