GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) β Two workers have serious injuries after a vehicle hit them while they were doing their job.
Greensboro Police Department says, at 9:51 a.m. on Monday, they responded to a crash on North Murrow Boulevard that involved two pedestrians. The pedestrians were workers attempting to set up lane closure signs on North Murrow Boulevard when they were hit by a vehicle.
The two victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. They were identified as employees of Flagger Force, and the company offered the following statement:
βOn Monday, January 29, an incident involving a Flagger Force crew and a motorist occurred in a work zone located in Greensboro, North Carolina, resulting in injuries. We take the safety of our employees, clients, and community very seriously and are currently working with the authorities and conducting an internal investigation. In light of the ongoing investigation, we do not have additional information to share at this time.β
