ASHEBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects after a shooting in Asheboro on Monday.
According to a RCSO news release, at 4:43 a.m., deputies responded to Mount Shepherd Road when they were told about a shooting.
The victim told arriving deputies that he was on his way to work when he saw a vehicle stopped in the road and an unknown female standing near the trunk.
The victim said he stopped to ask the female if she needed help when the unknown male driver of the vehicle shot at him.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released for a minor injury.
The victim described the suspect vehicle as a medium gray four-door sedan with a brake light on the spoiler.
