GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The Greensboro City Council will be allowed to review body camera video after an incident at a city official’s home.
On Monday, a judge approved a request from city council members to see body camera footage of a December domestic disturbance at the Greensboro home of City Manager Taiwo Jaiyeoba, Greensboro Senior Assistant City Attorney Andrea Harrell confirmed. The city does not yet know when the video will be released to city officials.
Multiple 911 calls were placed from the home between Dec. 28 and 29, including what a CAD reporter described as a “physical domestic disturbance” on Dec. 28 and a call involving a request for an escort from the home on Dec. 29.
