WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A person is dead and an 18-year-old is hurt after a shooting in Winston-Salem.
Winston-Salem Police Department says that just after 8 p.m., they responded to Goldfloss Street and found Shannon Howard James Pitts, 19, who had been shot multiple times. Pitts ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
They also found an 18-year-old young man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital but his injuries weren’t life-threatening.
This investigation is ongoing.
