Several people face multiple charges after an investigation by the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) into illegal activities at an unlicensed club. The ALE, working with the Greensboro Police Department, searched Secrets Cabaret in Greensboro, NC on February 16, 2024. They seized alcohol, drugs, money, and five firearms, including one reported stolen.
Among those charged are Linda Jamison Newsome, 53, and Danny Vernard Washington, 41. Newsome faces ten counts of selling alcohol without a permit and other charges. Washington is charged with illegal firearm possession, operating as an unlicensed armed security, and marijuana possession.
Other individuals charged include Jonathan Freeman Winton, 31, Nequareus Dre’von Roberts-Simon, 24, Kuchina Hazel, 25, Andre Cornelius, 34, and Zariyah Sophia Hogan, 21. Their charges vary from unlicensed armed security, concealed weapon possession, marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia possession, to unauthorized liquor possession.
Warrants have been issued for Antonio Omid Wall, 37, Christopher Lee Martin Jr., 32, Jasmine Marie Carmon, 26, and Frank Chessy Seator, 25. They are wanted for charges such as maintaining a property for drug activity, unauthorized liquor possession, and intent to sell or deliver marijuana.
