Driver shot during argument on Indiana Avenue in Winston-Salem; no arrests made

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — One person was injured in a shooting that involved an argument between drivers, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.

At about 12:44 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a report of a shooting in a parking lot on the 4900 block of Indiana Avenue.

At the scene, police found a male victim suffering from a minor gunshot wound. Forsyth County EMS treated the victim at the scene.

The victim told investigators that he was in his vehicle when he got into an argument with another driver in a small white SUV. The other driver reportedly shot him and then left the scene.

The victim said he did not know the person who shot him.
