High Point officer resigns after DWI charges, department confirms

HIGH POINT, N.C. – A High Point officer has resigned from the department after receiving DWI charges, the department confirmed. Officer Christian M. Pfahlert, 25, was driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding at a high rate of 70 in a 35 mile per hour zone early Tuesday morning, investigators said.
