WATCH: NC principal greets students from roof for meeting fundraiser goal

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — With both confusion and smiles on their faces, Ward Elementary School students looked up and waved back at their principal who was greeting them from the roof of the building Monday morning.

According to a Facebook post from Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, Principal Colin Tribby promised students that if they met their chocolate bar fundraising goal of $10,000, he’d greet them while standing on the roof.

“Good morning! Mr. Tribby lost the bet!” he told students.
