High School star Jayda Washington shined in the Junior Olympics in Greensboro, North Carolina. Washington, 16, is a junior at Coconut Creek High School and dual enrolled in the Applied Information Technology program at Atlantic Technical College. She competed in the 17-18 division in the long jump and placed 57th. She also competed in the javelin and came in 61st. Washington was a Regional Award Winner again for NCWIT and a National Finalist this year.
