Lynchburg, Va. – The Hornets opened up their ODAC schedule with a win at home against the Guilford Quakers, 3-0. The Hornets got things started early, Madelyn Boyce finding the back of the net, for her forth time this season, at the 17 minuet mark to put Lynchburg out in front 1-0. Within a matter of minuets, lighting would strike once again. Meghan Lauder added to the Lynchburg total with a goal on the door step at 20 minuet mark and gave the Hornets a 2-0 lead going into the half.
