Juvenile injured in double shooting in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A juvenile and another man were both shot in Winston-Salem on Sunday night, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.

At around 9:57 p.m. on Sunday night, officers came to the area of West 27th Street and Boneyard Road after getting a report of a shooting.

At the scene, police found an adult man who was shot in the leg. He was transported to a local hospital.

While officers were still at the scene investigating, a juvenile victim who had been shot in the shoulder arrived at a local hospital.

The injuries to both victims are considered to be non-life-threatening.

Investigators say that the investigation is ongoing and did not provide any suspect information.
