Swinney Has Message for Tiger Fans Ahead of Trip to Wake Forest

At the conclusion of his weekly radio show Monday night, Dabo Swinney had a message for Clemson fans ahead of the 10th-ranked Tigers’ road matchup at Wake Forest on Saturday.

“I hope our fans will show up,” Clemson’s head coach said. “Usually when we go up there, we usually have a big crowd, and I hope they’ll show up and help bring some energy for our guys, and we’re going to give it all we got.”

Saturday’s game between the Tigers (4-1, 3-0 ACC) and Demon Deacons (2-3, 1-1) is set for a noon (ESPN) kickoff at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Following a 29-13 win at Florida State last Saturday, Clemson is the lone ACC team to earn three conference wins so far this season, and the Tigers will try to stay unbeaten in conference play on Saturday while extending their overall winning streak to five games.

Clemson also looks to win its 16th straight game against Wake Forest, dating back to 2009, to take sole possession of the longest winning streak in series history (passing its 15 from 1977-91). Clemson’s current 15-game winning streak against Wake Forest is the Tigers’ longest active winning streak against an ACC foe.
