2 dead in Greensboro murder-suicide on Spry Street, police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A man shot and killed a woman in Greensboro before shooting and killing himself this week, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

At around 2:32 p.m. on Monday, Greensboro officers, firefighters and Guilford County EMS came to the 1700 block of Spry Street after getting a report of a shooting.

At the scene, police found 35-year-old De’Shanta Calloway and 34-year-old Tiffany Eubanks dead from gunshot wounds. Investigators say that the shooting was “domestic-related.”

Greensboro police say autopsy examinations determined Eubanks’ manner of death was classified as a homicide, and Calloway’s manner of death was classified as a suicide.

The investigation determined Calloway shot and killed Eubanks before shooting and killing himself.
