19-year-old shot, killed at park on Granville Drive in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A person was shot and killed at a park in Winston-Salem on Saturday, according to police.

At about 8:05 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of a shooting on the 700 block of Granville Drive.

At the scene, officers found 19-year-old Reaylie Trinidad Noyola, of Winston-Salem, in the park “suffering from gunshot wounds,” police said. Emergency Medical Services responded, but the victim died at the scene.

While the shooting is under investigation as a homicide, investigators say this does not appear to be a random act of violence but did not release any information regarding a potential motive or suspects.
