After a sunny start to the weekend, clouds and showers are rolling through the Carolinas as we head into Veterans Day. Some lingering rain and patchy fog may impact the commute for those of us heading to work on Monday before mostly sunny skies return by the afternoon. Temperatures should quickly run into the 70s across the Piedmont and Foothills while the High Country enjoys the 60s. While the sunshine sticks around through midweek, temperatures will take a significant fall as cold air surges into the Carolinas thanks to a strong ridge of high pressure to our north. Highs will end up in the 50s and 60s across the board on Tuesday and Wednesday.
