PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Our afternoon temperatures continue to warm up into the start of the Thanksgiving week.
We’ll continue to see mostly clear skies overnight Sunday into early Monday with morning temperatures in the upper 30s Monday morning.
Sunny skies will kick off the holiday week with temperatures reaching the mid-60s into the afternoon. The weather remains dry with southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph, perfect for anyone traveling!
On Tuesday, a weak and mainly dry cold front will move through the Tar Heel State with temperatures in the low 50s in the morning and highs reaching the mid 60s. Stray showers will be possible on Tuesday however most look to remain dry.
Partly cloudy skies on Wednesday with a slight drop in temperatures. We’ll start the morning in the mid-30s with highs reaching the upper 50s, a very seasonable November day.
Thanksgiving Day this year looks soggy with scattered showers likely throughout the day Thursday as a cold front moves through. We’ll see morning temperatures in the upper 30s with highs in the upper 50s. Winds will also be breezy out of the northwest at 10 to 20 mph.
