THOMASVILLE, N.C. – The Thomasville Police Department is warning you to be alert following a ‘cash drop’ scam. Police said the scam recently targeted two elderly people at a Walmart in Thomasville, 1585 Liberty Drive. There was an incident on Oct. 11 followed by a second one on Nov. 22.
