(WGHP) — The two largest school districts in the area have announced adjustments after early morning snow fell around the Piedmont Triad.
On Tuesday morning, Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools announced that they would be closed due to road conditions in the area.
Snow has dusted the Triad overnight, leaving some roads, bridges, parking lots and walkways icy and treacherous while temperatures remain low.
Guilford County Schools announced around 8 a.m. on Tuesday that they would be closed for the day.
